I was in VS-34 as a nugget pilot and took over duties as Aircrew Training Officer, NBC Officer, Operations Division Officer and other jobs befitting a full fleet Ensign. Left VS-34 when it was decommissioned and went to VAQ-33 to fly the EA-1 and EC-1 where I day/night carqualed aboard USS Essex. Then to VR-30, out of the Navy and in the VS and VP Reserves. Back into the Navy to VS-27 aboard USS Intrepid and later VS-22 aboard USS Saratoga. Did a tour as a flight instructor at VT-31 in Corpus including taking the fledgling aviators to the boat for the first time. Ships company tour aboard USS Independence where I flew the COD and when not ashore ran the ASCAC. Anything more serious, check out these other web sites. :-{)
