Bob and I go back a long way, we went to high school together and belonged to the same club when we lived in Brooklyn. We decided to join the Navy together in 1959, at NAS New York. We were assigned to VR 832, a reserve squadron flying R5D's. We did one year of reserves, 2 years active and 3 more years reserve. I have been keeping in touch with Linda. She is having a tough time coping with Bobs death but she is managing.
I sure will miss Bob, we were very close.
Thanks for posting his death notice.
Regards, Vince
